Position Overview

The Administrative Assistant will work in one of our shelters, assisting the Program Director and Facility Manager with purchasing, inventory control, mails, faxes, deliveries, service calls, drills, tracking and filling all vendors list, inspection checklists and work orders. The Administrative Assistant will also answer phones, direct calls as appropriate, receive and distributes mail, faxes, and deliveries.

Qualifications


  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required
  • Minimum two year experience in an office setting is preferred
  • Experience in social services setting strongly preferred
  • Computer skills, including word processing and spreadsheets
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Driver’s License a plus
