Job Description

Position Overview


The Clinical Supervisor will coordinate all services needed for outpatient program clients and assist Program Director with management of the program.
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Facilitate clinical supervision (bi-weekly) and case conference (weekly) with all clinical staff generate lists of clients to be discussed,
  • Coordinate the development of treatment plans and treatment plan reviews,
  • Review progress on treatment plans, and obtain regular progress reports on tasks assigned to interdisciplinary team members
  • Conduct staff supervisions
  • Act as liaison between referral sources and treatment program
  • Psychosocial assessment and level of care determination
  • Monitor services provided & referrals made by other team members
  • Complete, or assign for completion, treatment plans, treatment plans reviews, utilization reviews and other required documentation including pre and post-treatment surveys
  • Monitor random urine testing
  • Individual and group facilitation and development of staff, as necessary
  • Individual and group sessions
  • Complete progress notes, summarize reports and other required paperwork in a  timely and accurate fashion
  • Ability to use clinical language and writing.
  • A working knowledge of the DSM-IV/V
  • Group, individual and assessment skills
  • Experience with interdisciplinary treatment team approach
  • Good time management and organizational skills


Qualifications


  • 2 year’s post Master’s clinical experience with substance abuse or related field
  • 1 year of supervisory experience
  • LMSW or LCSW required
