Purpose:To handle the day-to-day administration of health care benefits and paid time off compensation. Administer wellness incentive events. Make recommendations for compensation strategy goals. Support retirement plan administration. Conduct surveys and timely respond to employee benefits and compensation inquiries.
Essential Job Functions:
Oversee the day-to-day administration of Benefits and Compensation
  • Administer and oversee benefits enrollment.
  • Assist with processing of leaves of absence as needed.
  • Administer Worker’s Compensation program.
  • Responsible for all Compensation projects (JD review, FLSA, internal equity, job grouping, etc.)
  • Utilize systems to track all leaves of absence.
  • Administer the back-to-work program
  • Support wellness program initiatives
  • Oversee OSHA compliance.
  • Support Employee Recognition and Total Rewards events.
  • Review and reconcile employee benefits invoices for payment.
  • Maintain benefit vendor relationships
  • Supply monthly/quarterly benefit and compensation dashboard reports
  • Supervise Benefit Assistant
  • Support Safety initiatives. 
  • Support New Hire Orientation/Benefits Onboarding

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Minimum five years of experience administering worker’s compensation and disability benefits.
  • Good interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • HRIS reporting experience with the ability to analyze data and evaluate trends to support the Benefits Director in developing benefits and compensation strategies and plan designs.
